Overview
Voice mode requires microphone permission and browser support for audio capture. The orb and entry sound indicate that the voice interface is ready.
Recording starts after the entry cue finishes so the cue is not submitted as your speech. Dictation is a separate control for composing a text prompt.
Steps
- Open Clare in the app or Ask Practisi in the app or website.
- With no text waiting to send, select the voice-mode control.
- Allow microphone access if your browser asks.
- When the orb appears, speak and pause to let the conversation process your turn.
- Use the microphone control to mute or unmute, and the close control to leave voice mode.
Important details
If no cue is heard, check device volume, the browser’s audio permissions, and the selected audio output. Voice mode can still work when cue playback fails.
