Overview

Clare and Ask Practisi need permission to capture microphone audio in voice mode. Permission is controlled by your browser and device.

Audio output, microphone input, and a muted session are different settings. Check all three when voice mode is silent.

Steps

  1. Open the browser’s site-permissions control for the application or website.
  2. Allow Microphone and select the intended input device.
  3. Check the operating system’s microphone permission for that browser.
  4. Close voice mode and reopen it to start a new capture session.
  5. If needed, reload the page after saving your draft.

Important details

Keep in mind

Use a supported browser on HTTPS, or localhost for development. A denied permission must be changed in the browser or device settings.
