How Practisi handles your information, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Contact: legal@practisi.com

Scope and contact

This policy applies to the Practisi website, application, courses, Clare, Ask Practisi, and related account services that link to it. “Practisi,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of those services. It does not cover a third-party website simply because we link to it.

Send privacy questions and requests to legal@practisi.com. Describe the request and the email associated with your account. Do not email passwords, payment-card numbers, government ID images, or biometric information. We may need to confirm account ownership before acting.

Account, profile, and preferences

We collect the account information you provide, including your email address, account identifier, name, username, profile photo, and optional biography or social links. Authentication services process your sign-in credentials and session information. We store account preferences such as language, appearance, timezone, and saved courses when you select them.

These records let you sign in, identify your account, resume your work, and use the same account across the website and application. Information you choose to publish in a profile, review, or shared credential may be visible to other people. Do not put private information in a public field.

Course work and learning records

We process enrolled courses, saved courses, lesson attempts, submitted answers and files, evaluations, scores, feedback, lesson and module completion, learning activity, streaks, skills, badges, and certificates. We use these records to deliver course tasks, evaluate submissions, show progress, determine access and achievement requirements, and help you continue learning.

A submitted answer may contain personal information or information about another person. Use fictional or appropriately anonymized material when a task does not require real personal data. You must have permission to submit confidential, copyrighted, or third-party material.

Clare, Ask Practisi, and automated evaluation

When you use an AI feature, we process your prompt, relevant conversation history, course or page context, and the account or learning information needed for the feature. Clare supports lesson work. Ask Practisi helps with Practisi, navigation, and account information. Evaluation services compare submitted work with course requirements.

Relevant information is sent to AI service providers, including OpenAI, to generate responses or assessments. A provider may process requests for security, abuse prevention, and operation under its applicable terms and data controls. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used for model training by default. This policy does not promise that every provider has the same settings or that every request has zero retention.

AI responses and assessments can be incomplete or incorrect. Review important answers and contact us about an apparent error. We use learning assessments to provide educational feedback and record course achievements; they are not professional licensing, employment, lending, or admissions decisions.

Do not share passwords, access tokens, private keys, complete payment details, medical records, or other information that the feature does not need. You can use ordinary text instead of voice.

Conversation history and persistent context

Signed-in conversations and relevant memory can persist so Clare and Ask Practisi can maintain continuity. Guest conversations may also be stored on the device. When you edit an earlier message, later turns can disappear from the visible conversation while being retained as archived history or memory. Editing a message is not a request to erase every earlier version or related record.

Use the conversation controls to manage visible chats. For a request covering retained history, memory, or archived versions, contact legal@practisi.com and identify the account and scope. Clearing browser storage does not erase records already stored on our servers or processed by a provider.

Microphone, audio, and speech

Voice mode and dictation require microphone permission. We process the audio you deliberately record, its transcript, and the text used to generate spoken replies. Speech providers may include ElevenLabs and OpenAI, depending on the feature. These providers receive the audio or text needed to transcribe or synthesize speech.

Microphone permission is controlled by your browser or device. Leaving voice mode stops the current recording flow; you can revoke permission in device or browser settings. Granting permission does not require you to use voice for course work or support. Provider-side retention and data-use settings depend on the service and account configuration; we do not promise that recordings are deleted immediately after transcription.

Certificate names and identity verification

To verify the identity associated with a certificate, Practisi uses Persona. The verification flow can request your name, government-issued ID, images of your face, and other information shown in the verification screen. Depending on the flow, Persona may use face measurements or other biometric information to compare an ID and selfie and detect fraud. Read the notices and consent requests presented before starting.

Practisi receives and stores information needed to track verification, such as inquiry identifiers, status, verification purpose, official-name information, and relevant result or audit records. Persona processes the verification material under its terms and privacy notices. Verification records are separate from an ordinary profile-photo or display-name update.

The documents and steps accepted depend on the verification flow. We do not promise that ID images or biometric records are deleted immediately, or that a particular document or alternative method will always be accepted. Before proceeding, review Persona’s current processor privacy policy and the retention notices in the verification flow. If you cannot use the flow, contact legal@practisi.com to discuss the issue rather than emailing your ID.

Payments and subscriptions

Stripe processes payments and subscription billing. Payment information is entered through the relevant payment flow. Practisi receives billing information needed to manage your plan, such as customer and subscription identifiers, payment or invoice status, plan, access dates, and transaction-related details. Your bank or payment provider may separately process the transaction.

We use billing records to provide purchased access, manage renewals and cancellation, address payment failures, handle refunds or disputes, and meet accounting and legal obligations. We do not need your full payment-card number in a support message.

Technical information and storage

Operating the services involves request and device information such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, request times, diagnostic events, and security or authentication logs. We also use cookies and browser storage to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and support guest conversation features.

The website’s Cookie preferences controls record your choices about optional categories. Essential session and security storage may still be needed when optional categories are disabled. Blocking all cookies or clearing storage can sign you out or remove local preferences and guest history. These actions do not cancel a subscription or delete an account.

Third-party resources, including fonts, may cause your browser to contact the resource provider and send ordinary connection information. Privacy settings in a browser can affect those requests. We do not treat a cookie-preference selection as permission for unrelated uses of your information.

Purposes and sources

We collect information from you, your use of the services, authentication and payment services, identity-verification providers, and the providers that support requested features. We use it to operate and secure Practisi, deliver courses and assistance, maintain account and learning records, process payments, respond to requests, investigate misuse, and meet legal obligations.

We can use de-identified or aggregated information to understand reliability and learning patterns when it does not reasonably identify an individual. We do not describe identifiable information as anonymous merely because it is stored under an account identifier.

When information is disclosed

Information is disclosed to providers that support the relevant service: Supabase for account, database, and storage functions; Stripe for billing; OpenAI for AI and certain speech functions; ElevenLabs for speech functions; and Persona for identity verification. Hosting, communications, and security providers may process connection, operational, or support information needed to deliver their services.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with a binding legal request, protect people and systems, investigate fraud or abuse, or establish or defend legal claims. If an organizational transaction affects the service, records may transfer subject to applicable law and notice requirements.

Reviews, public profile details, leaderboard information displayed by the product, and certificates you choose to share may be accessible to other people. A third-party site you open through Copy page or another external link operates under its own terms; selecting Open in ChatGPT or Open in Claude opens that provider and passes the page reference. It does not grant that provider access to your Practisi account.

Retention and deletion

Account and learning records are retained for account continuity and to provide the services. Billing, security, verification, and request-handling records may need to be retained for legal obligations, fraud prevention, disputes, or evidence of issued credentials. Retention depends on the type of record, the purpose, account status, and applicable requirements; there is no single deletion period for every record.

Copies may remain in backups until those copies are replaced or expire under the relevant backup process. Provider-side records can have separate retention rules. Deleting a visible message, removing enrollment, clearing local storage, or canceling Pro does not automatically erase all related data.

Use the account-deletion controls shown in the application or send a deletion request to legal@practisi.com. We will explain applicable exceptions or information needed to process the request. A scheduled deletion is not immediate erasure.

Security

Practisi uses account authentication, access controls, and server-side checks to limit access to personal account records and protected actions. Server credentials used for payment, verification, and AI integrations are intended for server-side operation rather than public browser code.

No service can promise absolute security. Use a strong unique password, protect your email account, sign out on shared devices, and report suspected unauthorized access to legal@practisi.com. Do not include passwords or secret tokens in the report. We will handle legally required incident notifications under applicable law.

Access, correction, export, and requests

You can update ordinary profile information and preferences in Settings. Official certificate names use the separate verification and name-change process. The account export includes supported profile, preference, enrollment, completion, badge, certificate, and bookmark records; it is not necessarily a complete copy of every chat, provider log, or verification record.

For additional access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, consent-withdrawal, or complaint requests available under the law that applies to you, email legal@practisi.com. Explain what you are requesting and the account involved. We may ask for proportionate information to verify identity or an authorized representative’s authority. We will not ask you to disclose your password.

We respond within the periods required by applicable law, including any permitted extension. Some requests have legal exceptions. When we cannot fulfill a request in full, we explain the reason and available next steps. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

California Privacy Statement

This section describes California residents’ information and rights. The categories relevant to Practisi include identifiers and account details; commercial and subscription records; internet or application activity; submitted work and educational records; audio or other uploaded media; and inferences represented by evaluations and learning progress. Sensitive information can include sign-in credentials, government identifiers, and biometric or identity-verification information when a verification flow collects it.

Sources, purposes, disclosures, and retention criteria for these categories are described in sections 2–12. Providers receive the categories needed for the service they perform. We do not offer personal information for sale or operate a cross-context behavioral advertising feature in the Practisi services described here.

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, you may request access or information about collection and disclosure, deletion, correction, portability, and any applicable limitation on sensitive-information use or opt-out of sale or sharing. You may use an authorized agent. You will not receive unlawful discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

Submit a California request to legal@practisi.com. We verify it proportionately and assess applicable exceptions. Browser signals, including Global Privacy Control, are relevant to legally required opt-outs; essential authentication and requested processing remain necessary. The current service does not offer a sale or cross-context advertising activity to opt out of. “Do Not Track” is not an account-deletion request.

California residents may also ask about disclosures for another business’s direct marketing where applicable. We do not disclose account records to unrelated businesses to market their own products as part of the service described in this policy.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Where European data-protection law applies, Practisi determines the purposes and means of processing personal information used to provide these services. Contractual necessity supports account operation, requested learning functions, and paid access. Legitimate interests can support proportionate security, abuse prevention, service reliability, and request handling. Legal obligations support required financial and compliance records. Consent applies when a feature or law requires it; sensitive or biometric processing requires an applicable additional condition.

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing as applicable. You can withdraw consent and complain to the competent supervisory authority, including in the place where you live or work. These rights are subject to the relevant legal conditions; they do not require an account subscription.

Services and providers may process information in countries outside your own. Where the law requires safeguards for an international transfer, appropriate mechanisms must apply, such as an adequacy decision or contractual safeguards. A provider’s participation in a framework or use of contractual clauses does not mean Practisi itself is certified under that framework. Contact legal@practisi.com for information about a particular transfer or applicable safeguards.

Do not use voice or identity verification until you have reviewed the notices and choices presented for those features. If you object to a recorded educational assessment or need help exercising a right, contact us; automated course feedback is not a promise that every decision is reviewed by a person.

Children and age requirements

Practisi is a general learning service and is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account if applicable law requires a consent or authorization you do not have. A minor must have appropriate parental or guardian permission where required, including authority for a paid subscription.

If you believe a child has provided personal information without the required authorization, contact legal@practisi.com. We will assess the report and take appropriate action under applicable law. Identity verification and payment providers may impose additional eligibility requirements.

Provider notices and further guidance

Provider notices explain their own processing and may change independently. Relevant resources include Supabase’s Privacy Policy, Stripe’s Privacy Policy, OpenAI’s business-data information and API data controls, ElevenLabs’ Privacy Policy, and Persona’s Processor Privacy Policy. They do not replace this policy for Practisi’s own handling of your information.

Our Help Center explains current account controls, microphone and camera permissions, certificate verification, data downloads, and account deletion. Ask Practisi can help locate those instructions, but it cannot promise a request has been completed unless the service confirms it.

Changes to this policy

The date at the beginning identifies this version. We update this policy when our practices or requirements change and provide any additional notice or choice required by law. A material change does not make an earlier unlawful use lawful.

Questions about a version, an unresolved privacy request, or an accessibility barrier in this document can be sent to legal@practisi.com.

Practisi provides practical courses, learning feedback, AI assistance, and records of demonstrated progress. These terms explain what you can expect from the service and what is required when you use it.

Last updated: October 12, 2026

The rules for using Practisi, taking courses, purchasing access, and sharing your work.

Contact: legal@practisi.com

Agreement and scope

These terms apply to the Practisi website, application, courses, Clare, Ask Practisi, and related services. By creating an account, using the service, or purchasing access, you agree to these terms to the extent a valid agreement can be formed under applicable law. If you do not agree, do not create an account or purchase access.

The Privacy Policy explains personal-information handling. Payment terms displayed at checkout form part of a purchase. If a separate written agreement applies to a particular service, that agreement controls the matters it expressly covers. Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@practisi.com.

Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be legally permitted to use the service and provide any parental or guardian authorization required for your age or location. Practisi is not directed to children under 13. A purchase must be made by someone with authority to enter the payment agreement.

Provide accurate account information, use an account you are authorized to access, and keep credentials private. Do not impersonate another person or share an account to bypass access limits or falsely attribute completed work. Notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You remain responsible for activity you authorize.

Course access and enrollment

Browsing a course is different from enrolling in it. Enrollment connects learning records to the signed-in account. Free access and Pro access are governed by the plan and access rules shown in the product; enrolling alone does not unlock paid modules.

A course can include a brief, supplied material, lessons, practical tasks, feedback, and Final Challenges. Follow the requirements shown for that course. Course availability, materials, and sequencing may be updated. If a change materially affects purchased access, we will address any remedy required by the purchase terms or applicable law.

Plans, subscriptions, and renewal

The checkout identifies the plan, price, currency, billing interval, taxes where applicable, and any trial. Review those terms before paying. A recurring subscription renews at its stated interval unless canceled under the displayed terms. A trial can convert to paid access when the trial ends if checkout expressly provides for that conversion.

You authorize the payment processor to charge the selected payment method for the purchase and agreed renewals. Keep billing information current. A failed payment may affect paid access; it does not entitle you to bypass the restriction. We will provide notice of price or renewal changes when required.

Cancellation, refunds, and consumer rights

Use the Billing controls offered for your account to cancel a subscription or trial. Check the confirmation and effective access-end date. Signing out, deleting a browser cookie, or removing enrollment does not cancel recurring billing. If you cannot use the cancellation control, contact legal@practisi.com.

Cancellation stops future renewal as described by the purchase terms; a refund for amounts already paid depends on the applicable offer and law. Nothing in these terms removes a mandatory refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or other consumer right. Where digital-service withdrawal rules apply, any early-performance consent and acknowledgment required by law must be obtained through the relevant purchase flow.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, provide the account email, date, and transaction reference so we can investigate. Do not send your complete card number. Taxes, exchange rates, and fees imposed by a bank or payment service may be outside Practisi’s control.

Acceptable use

Use Practisi for lawful learning and authorized account activity. Do not attack, overload, scrape in a manner that violates rights or access restrictions, exploit vulnerabilities, circumvent authentication or Pro requirements, interfere with other users, or attempt to obtain another person’s records.

Do not submit unlawful, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, fraudulent, or rights-infringing material. Do not upload malware or confidential information you are not permitted to share. Do not use the service to generate impersonation, identity fraud, or instructions for wrongdoing. Report a suspected security issue privately to legal@practisi.com rather than testing against another person’s account.

Your work and learning integrity

Your submitted work should accurately represent the effort and abilities the course asks you to demonstrate. Use outside assistance only in ways permitted by the task. Do not copy another learner’s answer, falsify results, or submit work under someone else’s identity.

Clare can explain concepts, help break down a task, and guide your thinking. Assistance does not remove your responsibility to understand and complete the work. An evaluation, score, or completion record may be corrected if it results from an error, misuse, or a failure to meet the stated requirements.

Your content and the permission we need

You retain the rights you have in the prompts, answers, files, reviews, and other material you submit. You grant Practisi a limited, nonexclusive permission to store, process, transmit, display, and adapt that material as needed to provide the features you request, evaluate work, maintain your records, protect the service, and handle related requests.

This permission allows the service providers needed for those functions to process the material on our behalf or under their applicable service terms. It does not transfer ownership of your work to Practisi. You are responsible for having the rights or permissions needed to submit another person’s material.

Public reviews, profile information, or credentials you choose to share can be seen and copied by others. Removing a public item from Practisi cannot guarantee that copies already made elsewhere disappear. Retained personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

AI assistance, voice, and automated feedback

Clare, Ask Practisi, speech features, and evaluation use automated systems. Responses can be inaccurate, biased, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular decision. Verify important information against the relevant source and do not rely on Practisi as medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other regulated professional advice.

A generated answer is not a guarantee of correctness, a passing result, or the creation of intellectual-property rights. You are responsible for how you use it. Ask Practisi cannot grant access, issue a certificate, cancel billing, or change a record merely by saying it has done so; a protected action requires the service’s authorization and confirmation.

Voice mode uses microphone permissions and external speech processing. Keep recordings limited to material you are permitted to submit. Conversation continuity can involve retained history or memory. Editing a previous turn changes the visible branch and does not necessarily erase archived turns, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Badges, skills, and certificates

Badges and skills reflect the requirements and recorded work associated with the account. Certificates depend on course completion, required assessments, and identity verification where required. A locked certificate preview is not an issued credential. An issued credential should not be altered to misrepresent its recipient, course, score, date, or verification.

Practisi certificates are records of completion and demonstrated course work. They are not university degrees, professional licenses, guaranteed academic credit, or promises of employment or earnings. No endorsement or accreditation by a university, employer, or regulator is implied unless expressly identified for a specific offering.

The official recipient name is managed through verification and the name-change process. If a record is wrong, request a correction instead of editing an exported certificate to make it appear officially changed.

Practisi materials and branding

Practisi’s course materials, interface, artwork, brand assets, and other service content remain protected by the rights of Practisi or the relevant owner. You may access and use the materials for the personal learning purposes allowed by your plan.

Do not resell access, redistribute entire courses, remove ownership notices, or imply that you operate or represent Practisi. These terms do not restrict rights that applicable law gives you, including permitted quotation, accessibility use, or other lawful exceptions. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.

Third-party services and external links

Payments, identity verification, AI processing, and other features depend on outside providers. Their services may have additional notices and terms. External links, including Open in ChatGPT and Open in Claude, take you to services controlled by those providers.

We do not control an external site’s availability, content, or account rules. A link is not a promise that the external service will preserve your privacy settings or verify an answer. Share only the information you intend to share when using that provider.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service usable, but availability can be affected by maintenance, updates, provider failures, network conditions, or events outside our control. We do not promise uninterrupted service or error-free AI output. The System Status page provides service information when available.

We may improve or retire features. For a material reduction affecting paid access, any notice or remedy required by the purchase terms or applicable law remains available. We will not treat these terms as permission to disregard a specific purchase commitment.

Suspension, termination, and account deletion

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to investigate or stop a material violation, protect accounts or systems, comply with law, or address nonpayment. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice and a way to contact us about an error. Urgent security or safety action may precede notice.

You may stop using the service, cancel paid renewal, and use the account-deletion process. These are separate actions. Retention of billing, security, verification, or other records is described in the Privacy Policy. Terms that must continue to address an existing payment, intellectual-property right, dispute, or legal obligation survive account closure to that extent.

Warranties and responsibility

The service is provided subject to the specific commitments made at purchase and rights required by applicable law. To the extent legally permitted, we do not give an additional implied promise of fitness for every purpose, a particular learning outcome, or a particular commercial result.

Neither an outage nor an AI error makes Practisi a substitute for professional advice or your independent judgment. Any limitation on liability applies only to the extent enforceable under applicable law. These terms do not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including protected consumer rights or applicable liability for fraud, deliberate wrongdoing, or personal injury.

There is no requirement in these terms to waive a right to bring a claim, enter mandatory arbitration, or give up a legally protected collective remedy. Contact us first if possible so we can understand and try to resolve the problem.

Questions and disputes

Send a dispute or legal notice to legal@practisi.com with the account involved, the issue, relevant dates, and the remedy you seek. We may need to verify authority before disclosing account information. Do not include secrets or sensitive identity documents in ordinary email.

Mandatory law and available rights in the place relevant to the dispute continue to apply. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent allowed by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not automatically waive it for later cases.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the beginning identifies the current version. We will give notice and obtain any agreement required by law for a material change; an update does not retroactively eliminate a protected right or valid claim.

For legal, privacy, or accessibility questions, use legal@practisi.com. For product instructions, visit the Help Center. Ask Practisi can help locate the right document but is not a source of binding legal advice or a substitute for the written terms.

People should be able to use Practisi in ways that work for them. We design for clear reading, predictable navigation, and practical learning, and we want to hear when an interface or task creates a barrier.

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Our approach to accessible learning, available controls, and how to report a barrier.

Contact: legal@practisi.com

Scope

This statement covers the public Practisi website and application, including courses, Help articles, legal documents, and the interfaces for Clare and Ask Practisi. Third-party payment and identity-verification interfaces are operated by their providers and can have separate accessibility characteristics.

Standard and current status

WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the standard we use to guide accessibility improvements. It addresses matters such as keyboard access, contrast, focus visibility, text alternatives, and predictable interaction.

This is an accessibility commitment and reporting statement, not a declaration that every page and third-party flow has passed a complete independent conformance audit. We do not claim certification, full WCAG conformance, or compliance with every accessibility law on the basis of this statement.

Available features and controls

Practisi includes semantic headings and navigation, labeled controls, keyboard-operable links and buttons, and visible focus indicators in supported interfaces. Legal pages include a table of contents, reading progress, Markdown viewing, copy, and print actions. Help articles provide direct links and a navigable article index.

The application provides appearance controls. Use browser zoom and your device’s display and assistive-technology settings as needed. Where implemented, reduced-motion preferences simplify animation. A text conversation can be used instead of microphone-based voice mode. Voice playback is an additional aid rather than the only way to read a response.

Known areas needing care

Course artwork can contain words as part of an image. Generated responses, assessment feedback, complex course material, and changing conversation content may require additional explanation or assistive-technology testing. Text alternatives and readable names are important where artwork conveys a course title.

Persona verification can require camera access, ID capture, and a selfie. Stripe payment screens and provider dialogs are outside the Practisi interface. If one of these prevents you from proceeding, report the particular barrier so we can investigate it with the relevant provider and discuss available options.

We cannot promise that every task or identity-verification requirement has an equivalent alternative already available. We will consider requests individually without asking you to send medical documentation or identity images in ordinary email.

Report a barrier

Email legal@practisi.com with “Accessibility” in the subject. Include the page or course, what you were trying to do, what prevented it, and your preferred way to receive a response. If helpful, include the browser, device, and assistive technology used.

You do not need to disclose a diagnosis. Do not include passwords, full payment details, or identity documents. A screenshot is optional; describe the issue in text if that is easier. Tell us if a course deadline or required verification makes the issue time-sensitive.

Assistance and alternative formats

Ask for an accessible explanation, a usable document format, or assistance navigating a required process. Legal documents can be viewed as Markdown or printed from the page. Help articles also have Markdown versions. These options can help with reading but do not replace making the interface itself accessible.

We review reports, seek enough detail to reproduce the issue, and discuss practical next steps. Where a remedy depends on a third-party provider or a larger interface change, we will explain that dependency rather than promise an immediate fix.

Testing and improvement

Accessibility work includes reviewing keyboard interaction, responsive layouts, focus behavior, content structure, and reduced-motion handling as interfaces change. Automated checks alone do not establish conformance; testing with assistive technologies and people using the service remains important.

We prioritize barriers that prevent account access, learning, payments, certificates, or exercising privacy rights. Reporting a problem helps identify gaps, and a report is not a substitute for investigating and correcting the affected interface.

Contact and updates

This statement was last updated on October 12, 2026. Send accessibility questions or an unresolved report to legal@practisi.com. We update this statement when our approach or the service changes.
