Overview

Once identity is verified, the card offers Request name change. An ordinary profile edit does not change an already verified recipient name.

A name-change request has its own verification and review state. Check that state before relying on the new name.

Steps

  1. Open Settings and locate Name verification.
  2. Select Request name change.
  3. Enter the candidate official name requested by the form.
  4. Complete the verification instructions and submit the request.
  5. Review the request status and your certificate recipient details after approval.

Keep in mind

If a request is pending, avoid creating duplicate requests. Use only the actions made available by the current request state.
